I believe part of being a whole person working in healthcare requires taking time for yourself and your health. In times of stress and uncertainty, it is nice to take time to appreciate the beauty in nature. I enjoy going for a walk outdoors to de-stress, unwind, and relax. This artwork is titled "Sunshine in Nature".

My name is JoAnna Cupp, and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). I grew up on a row-crop farm in northeast Arkansas and am proud to be a farmer’s daughter. My parents taught me the value of a strong work ethic. I currently work at Arkansas State University as a Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Dietetics Program. I have worked in academia for the last five years. Prior to academia, I worked as a clinical RDN in various inpatient and outpatient settings in Mobile, Alabama and Chicago, Illinois. I also obtained a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management and am currently working on a Doctor of Health Sciences. In 2014, my husband and I moved back to Arkansas. I love all things nutrition related, cooking, and being active. I also enjoy traveling with my husband in my spare time and visiting my family farm.
