Art Description
This poem was a quick work that I composed while I was traversing a difficult time in the first year of my medical school career. It served as a reminder to calm my thoughts and not let them overwhelm me at any given moment. In this way, my emotions reminded me of the transience of the seasons.

"Sean Hollebeck grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended university at The University of Texas at Dallas where he received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. He later went to graduate school at Brown University in Rhode Island where he received his Masters in Medical Sciences with his thesis focusing on the mental health outcomes of previously incarcerated individuals at Thundermist Community Health Center. Here, Sean cemented his desire to attend an osteopathic medical school that had a focus on community healthcare and thus decided to apply at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He has hopes to graduate and attend a family medicine or psychiatry residency to complete his training as an osteopathic physician."
