In order to help students identify areas for improvement in their written assignments, each CGHS course has a link in the top module to Assignment Drafts. This allows students to submit a draft of an assignment to Turnitin and receive an originality score, helping them see passages that may trigger questions of academic dishonesty or that need citation of sources.
Any assignment submitted to the Assignment Drafts will NOT be graded. Students are responsible for turning in their work in the appropriate assessment.
Note: Turnitin allows unlimited submissions to the Assignment Drafts. Every resubmission overwrites the previous submission. After 3 resubmissions, it may take 24 hours for the similarity report to generate.
CGHS uses the Turnitin as a plagiarism checker. Remember, the percentage of matching does not always correlate with academic honesty.
Turnitin allows students to resubmit papers until the due date. If you need to resubmit a Turnitin Assignment after the due date, please contact your instructor.
