In our last Newsletter in December I discussed our new liaison program where we have a librarian who is the Library’s lead person in working with the faculty and students in the University’s six schools.  I hope you have seen your School’s liaison and that you have his or her email and phone number memorized!  The Library staff is always looking for ways we can improve our support of the ATSU community and I am always looking for your input on the Library’s support including the good, the bad or the ugly!

We are also continuing to upgrade our web site and the online resources we are making available for you.  Over the last several months we added two important new resources I hope you have had the opportunity to try.  They are:

 

 

Browzine is a new app for your smart devices that allow you to easily browse issue of journals the Library subscribes to.  Click here for more information and how to start using it.
 

 

What Does It Enable You to Do?

  • Easily read complete scholarly journals in a format that is optimized for tablet devices
  • Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals
  • Be alerted when new editions of journals are published
  • Easily save to Zotero, Mendeley, Dropbox and other services

 

 

Board Vitals is a new exam prep resource which offers a question bank, plus up-to-date explanations from the literature with answers and detailed feedback.  It provides practice questions for the following exams:
