Research Funding Opportunities

Could you use some funding to help you with your research? If you are conducting research for your DRP, ARP, Dissertation, or PH-Dental Residency or taking advantage of our guided research opportunity, you may apply for one of two small internal grants.

The April 1 application deadline is firm. Be sure to review the requirements and expectations of the grant opportunities (listed below) and allow yourself plenty of time to prepare your grant application for a timely submission.

If you have any questions, start with the faculty who is supervising your research. If you still have questions, contact us @ CGHSScholars@atsu.edu

Student Research Supplies Program

Rolling Application Deadline

Student Research Supplies Request Program

Maximum award is $500 to purchase research supplies only. The purpose of this program is to assist student researchers with research supplies when all other funding options have been exhausted. No carry over funds will be allowed, so approved funds must be used (e.g., ASTU Purchase Order issued, supply items received, and invoice received) by June 30. Please use the ATSU Student Research Supplies Request Form to provide supply cost details and obtain a signature from the faculty member’s chair or direct supervisor indicating that sufficient department funds are not available to support the need.

While this fund accepts applications at any time, apply early enough to allow awarded funds to be spent by the end of the fiscal year (June 30).
