Daryl works in Acquisitions for A.T. Still Memorial Library. He is primarily responsible for obtaining the materials that the library has decided to purchase for our faculty and students to use. He is involved in purchasing electronic databases, journals and books while making sure our journals and various other related items are arriving on time. One of the library’s latest tasks has been to weed our monograph and media collection, which Daryl has been involved with.
Recently Daryl helped with an exhibit from the National Library of Medicine, in conjunction with the library’s open house. When not running reports, processing new materials, or working on a project, Daryl also helps out at the circulation desk providing books, head-phones, treatment tables, projectors and other items students or staff need. The latest special project for Daryl was digitizing Osteopathic VHS & U-matic tape videos, some of which are 50 years old.
