DAT students will be required to conduct an applied research project throughout the course of their program. This page provides an overview of all the various library resources that can help you throughout this process, from choosing your topic to writing up your results.

It is highly recommended that you reach out to your liaison librarian at cjgarcia@atsu.edu early on in the research process, and involve a librarian throughout the research lifecycle. A librarian can help you with the ARP project by:

• Helping you develop literature searching strategies
• Identifying databases and resources relevant to your research question
• Assisting with citation management
• Helping you manage your research data
• Providing advice on citing your sources
• Providing guidance on copyright law
• Helping you navigate the academic publishing process
