You may need to search for clinical trial information either as a practitioner - many patients will be interested in participating in them - or as a researcher.
It is common for information about clinical trials to be available from clinical trial registries long before it is published in a journal article. This is especially true if an investigation found that an intervention or treatment did not work for a specific health concern - you will often only be able to find this information in an unpublished trial. Additional or different types of information about clinical trials are also available outside of published research studies or conference presentations.
