Bill Coombs, Director of the ETDC, transferred to the Missouri branch of ATSMLib in November after spending 8+ years working in the AZ branch. He reports that the transition has gone smoothly, though he was somewhat surprised to find out there is still a season called "winter," something he vaguely remembers from his younger days. Bill, in addition to being ETDC Director, is now Public Services Librarian on the Kirksville campus.

The AZ campus branch will be recruiting shortly for someone to fill the vacant ETDC position there.
On January 14, Teaching and Learning Center Director Marsha Ham, University Librarian Mike Kronenfeld, and ETDC Director Bill Coombs took part in this year's first episode of ITS's Lunch & Learn series, hosted by Bryan Krusniak and Joe Vincent. The topic of the hour-long session was "Technology to Support a Culture of Learning."
