Library instruction series to improve evidence-based practice and research skills among students, faculty and staff of ATSU

Module Description

The Plagiarism and Citation training module will define Copyright, Plagiarism, Paraphrasing, Synthesizing and Citation and address ways to avoid plagiarism in your assignments. This module will also review the basics of the APA 7 citation format. 

No prior research experience is required to attend. 

Participants are encouraged to bring questions related to assignments or research projects.

Please take a moment to go through the Module Prep Activities prior to the Module Training.

Module Objectives

Participants will: 

  1. Define plagiarism. 
  2. Demonstrate an introductory understanding of paraphrasing. 
  3. Identify where to find APA 7 citation sources.
