This year's theme is "Open for Climate Justice," which encourages connection and collaboration among the climate movement and the international open community. Sharing knowledge is a human right, and tackling the climate crisis requires rapidly exchanging knowledge across geographic, economic, and disciplinary boundaries.

In celebration of Open Access Week 2022, the A.T. Still Memorial Library held a workshop on How to Publish Open Access and Avoid Predatory Publishers. This workshop discussed how you can publish your work in high-quality open access journals and self-archive your work in open access repositories, as well as how to identify predatory publishers and ensure your work is published in legitimate venues.
