Complete the training above to learn how to import or manually add new citations to your Digital Measures Profile.  All completed training will receive a certificate of completation. 

Adding Citations

Citations can be added to your Digital Measures Profiles in two different methods, importing or manual entry.

Use the Publications area under Scholarship/Research heading, to enter in your citation.

Citation formats accepted

  • Books, Book Chapters, or Book Reviews
  • Cases
  • Conference Proceedings
  • Instructional Material
  • Journal Articles
  • Magazine or Trade Publications
  • Newsletter stories or Newspaper Articles
  • Software or Technical Reports
  • Other

DOI

You may search for citations by their DOI.

Start at the Digital Measures home page, and click on Publications under Scholarship/Research.

1. Click on the Import Button.  

2. Under Import from a Third Party, select Crossref as your service.  Pick the DOI field as your search criteria.

3. Enter in your DOI and click Search Crossref.

4. Review the citation and select which ones to add, by clicking on the check box.  You may click on the title to see additional citation information.

5. Once finished, click Continue.

6. In the Match Collaborators Step, select Match to a user account for ATSU affiliated authors.  It is important to match publications to ATSU co-authors, as the citation will then appear on their profile.

If there are no ATSU co-authors, click Continue.

7. You will have a final review of the publication details.  Click Finish Import to add the citation to your Digital Measures profile.  Click on Import on the new pop up box.

PubMed

You may search for citations by your name in PubMed.

Start at the Digital Measures home page, and click on Publications under Scholarship/Research.

1. Click on the Import Button 

2. Select PubMed as a service.

3. Use "Name:Author" as your search criteria.  Enter in your last name and first inital.

If you have a common last name, add additional search criteria like Affiliation or PubMed ID.

4. Review the citation(s) and select which ones to add, by clicking on the check box.  You may click on the title to see additional citation information.

5. Once finished, click Continue.

6. In the Match Collaborators Step, select Match to a user account for ATSU affiliated authors.  It is important to match publications to ATSU co-authors, as the citation will then appear on their profile.

If there are no ATSU co-authors, click Continue.

7. You will have a final review of the publication details.  Click Finish Import to add the citation to your Digital Measures profile.  Click on Import on the new pop up box.

Edit Your Citations

Use the Publications area under Scholarship/Research heading, to edit citations already entered.

Find the citation you wish to edit, and click on the title.

An Edit Publication option will open, allowing you to add additional information or edit inaccurate information.
