Arizona campus Institutional Review Board instructions, guidance, forms, consents and regulations

Required Training Certifications

A. T. Still University requires all Investigators conducting research with human subjects to obtain certification of training in human subjects protection and financial conflict of interest (FCOI).  These training certification requirements may be satisfied by completing a web-based course offered through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).  Instructions for completing CITI training are provided on the "Home" tab of this website.  The human subjects protection and FCOI training must be renewed every four years.  The IRB may accept other training programs on a case-by-case basis, upon approval from the IRB Chair, Dr. Curt Bay.
