Bates' Visual Guide

The Fifth Edition of  Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination delivers head-to-toe and systems-based physical examination techniques. The site features more than 8 hours of video content as a support to the textbook.

Faculty may find direct links to shorter clips of the videos here. Just add our proxy url to be able to use them off-campus.

OSCE Clinical Skills Videos

Bates' Visual Guide also includes a set of videos designed to help you prepare for Objective Structured Clinical Examinations, or OSCEs, by testing your clinical reasoning skills. In each video you will observe a clinical encounter and be given the opportunity to develop an assessment, or differential diagnosis, and provide an appropriate diagnostic workup.
