ATSU Libraries COVID-19 response

Accessing Library Resources and Services during COVID restrictions

During ATSU campus COVID restrictions, the A.T. Still Memorial Library spaces are physically closed. Library resources and services are available and can be accessed as follows.


  1. Online Services - Online library services continue uninterrupted. The vast majority of the library’s collection is online and available at all times. It can be accessed through the library’s website,
  2. Reference Inquiries / Library Questions - All library inquiries are currently handled through phone, Zoom, or email ( or

  3. Physical Space - Currently, students are encouraged to only be on campus for in-person classes. All study areas are closed on both campuses, which includes the library.
    1. When the library reopens, masks and social distancing will be required, study groups will not be allowed, and food will be prohibited.
  4. EBP/EBM/EBD / Library Instruction / Information Literacy Session - All instruction sessions will be given via Zoom.
  5. Print Collections -
    1. General Collection - Access to General Collection items is staff mediated. The Missouri campus contactless pickup system is already in place in the Commons.
      1. The Arizona campus system is still in the planning stages.
    2. Reserve Collections - Arizona reserve books can be accessed via scanned chapter upon request, one chapter at a time, please email us at
      1. The Missouri reserve collection is circulating books for a week at a time, please email
    3. All Other materials - models, tables, headphones, etc are not available. Changes to this policy will be announced when appropriate.
  6. Interlibrary Loan - ILL for electronic items continues uninterrupted. Borrowing physical items has been halted in AZ, and will start in MO sometime in July. AZ will restart once regional libraries start to reopen.

  8. Printers - Not available in the library while the physical space is closed. The Missouri library printer has been moved to the Commons. The Arizona library will accept large print jobs and poster printing on a case by case basis.

  9. Public Use computers - Not available during COVID restrictions, including the MO campus computer lab.
