Did someone say Articulate Storyline training? Yes, you heard it correctly!
On March 11-12, the Articulate and Rapid E-Learning Trainer, Tom Kuhlman, will be at the Arizona Campus of ATSU to instruct all interested faculty and staff on this exciting program.
Maybe you've been looking for a way to go beyond a static Powerpoint lecture and make your presentations more interactive. Or maybe you've investigated Storyline, and it does 95% of what you want, but getting the last bit to work is just frustrating you to no end.
These are two excellent reasons why you should attend the training on March 11-12. Storyline, which consistently receives top ratings from the professional e-trainer community, has the potential to change how materials are delivered in-person and online to ATSU students.
For more information on the training, go here. If you are part of ATSU, contact Dr. Jim Burkett (jburkett@atsu.edu) for registration information.
The ETDC has a limited number of licenses for Storyline. You can download a 30-day trial of the software. If you've tried it and like it, and you decide you would like to use it to create interactive presentations, contact the ETDC at x6259, and we'll send you your license code to get you up and running.
We are eagerly awaiting an upgrade for ATSU Guides. Version 2 promises to add a stylish new look and more versatility to the easy-to-use website platform. In fact, the Check-It-Out newsletter is an ATSU Guide (created in Version 1), so you can see that it already provides a functionality and look that can make your class collaboration or document-download site stand out.
Some of the features that are on tap include:
We'll be letting you know when the upgrade becomes available. Note: This is an upgrade that you won't be forced to do. It's your choice -- and the timing of the upgrade will be up to you as well.
Here's some information about UNC Chapel Hill's experience with the upgrade.
